Hi @dpriceevans. No, a standalone Ring Smart Light cannot activate a third-party light. You can use a [Outdoor Smart Plug](https://ring.com/products/outdoor-smart-plug) or a [Transformer](https://ring.com/products/smart-lighting-transformer) to activate third-party lights and control them with the Ring app. Using both of these does require either a [Ring Bridge](https://ring.com/products/smart-lighting-bridge), [a compatible Echo device that can work as a bridge](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360059329551-Using-your-Echo-devices-as-a-Smart-Lighting-Bridge), or a Ring Alarm Pro that has a built-in bridge.
