No low battery notification
I've recently had two contact sensors go offline due to dead batteries. I have the low battery push and email notification enabled, but I was not notified for the contact sensors. I am notified for low battery on the cameras. Does the low battery notification include sensors or is it only for cameras?

Any idea why it missed notifying me for two batteries or what I can do ensure it works as expected for the next low battery? Thanks.

+1 for this query. My Keypad has low battery, but I wouldn't have known if I hadn't have checked. No notification. Please advise what settings are needed and where to ensure notifications are sent for device battery. Like the OP I receive notifications for cameras, but not for alarm devices.

JHi @user63814. You can receive Low Battery Alerts for your Alarm pieces by enabling it in your Alert Settings. This Help Center page will show you how to do so. https://ring.com/support/articles/in527/Managing-alerts-for-Ring-Alarm

@Justin_Ring Just to let you know the link (at least for Ireland) is wrong. It states: Open the Ring app to the main dashboard. Tap the menu (☰). Tap Settings. Tap Alarm. It is actually: Open the Ring app to the main dashboard. Tap the menu (☰). Tap Settings. Tap Alert Settings Tap Alarm Low Battery is already turned on for me. Any other recommendations?

UThe Low Battery option is already turned on for me as well. Only cameras are reporting low battery though.

@tom_ring or @Justin_ring is there any troubleshooting steps you can provide to find out why low battery alerts only work for cameras?

Hi @user_ce2aab. We can mainly assist with general troubleshooting tips here on the Community. Since you're having persistent issues with receiving notifications, I'd recommend following up with our social support team @Ring on Facebook, X, or Instagram to troubleshoot further.

Hi @user_ce2aab. You should receive a notification that your Contact Sensor is offline due to a low battery. Also, your batteries should last over a year before they go low enough for replacement.
