There are a few different things that could cause false alerts with the Motion Detector, such as windows or heat sources. I'd recommend reviewing [these tips](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360039498552-Ring-Alarm-Motion-Detector-Setup-and-use) on the setup and placement of your Motion Detector. Usually, its down to a spider spinning a web over the sensor. Regularly, i dust mine all over the house to remove any. Makes me sound like im dirty but webs appear overnight.
