Ring door bell stops alerting on app or chime when button pressed - but person detection works fine
Every so often the doorbell seems to just stop working for pressing the button. It rings at the doorbell as if working but the plug in chime doesn’t work or notifications on the app. The doorbell has a full battery and is connected to WiFi as strangely the person motion detection still works perfectly triggering the chime and the app. Only solution is to pull the battery and then when starts up again its fine for a few days but then will randomly stop working. I have only had a ring door bell for 2 weeks but of the 3 times it has failed has meant I have missed deliveries and would be better to revert to a basic doorbell at this rate.

Hi @user_cea7fc. I recommend factory resetting your Doorbell to see if it helps. To do so, press and hold the setup button on it for 20 seconds, then reconnect it to your Wi-Fi.
