My ring doorbell is hit and miss wether it chimes on my phone when the doorbell is pressed

I have rebooted ..moved it nearer to WiFi( its actually not that far away) it still wont ring on my phone to alert me someone is at the door :-(? Help please

you can try to check if your device is connected properly or not from you ring app 1. Tap on the **three lines (≡)** on the top left of your **Dashboard.** 2. Tap **Devices.** 3. Select the doorbell 4. Tap on **Device Health.** it will show you the status of the device and the network status you can also check something called RSSI which is the signal strength
