Ring UK ombusdman
In the absence of any clear cut form of communication in writing with ring, I lodge a complaint via phone about their agents, which doesn’t get actioned - why would an agent refer themselves if they’re subject to a complaint [\sarcasm] I don’t believe they provide a service I pay in for, in this instance and have exhausted every means possible to lodge a complaint; so now the only available option is an external party What ombudsman would I contact?

I’m going to speak to the property lawyer on lbc ref. Ring. Something is not right with this company. They’re handling a lot of personal data but won’t action SAR, nor correspond in writing

Depends on what went wrong. The Citizen's Advice Bureau is likely your first port of call, they will advise where to go next, that could be Chartered Trading Standards Institute, but it depends on what the problem is. If its financial, your bank may be able to help with a chargeback, same with your credit card provider if you used a credit card. If all else fails, if the company has an Alternative Dispute Resolution system in place, you can ask to use that. Or of course there's the Small Claims Court.
