Hello - First I am not a very “techy” person so please be kind. Is there a way to turn off the bright spotlight when using the IR feature when motion is detected? I use the cam to keep an eye out on a feral cat I feed and at night when he comes to eat the bright spotlight scares him. But I can’t see him if I turn the IR feature off. Any suggestions?

Hi @user_cf30cd. The infrared lights are what provide the ability to see the view at night. Without the lights, it would be like attempting to take a picture or video at night without the flash on. With that said, the infrared lights aren't a bright spotlight, but are actually a series of small red lights on the front of the camera.   It's possible that the cat is able to hear a noise associated with these lights turning on, which is what's startling him. He might eventually get used to it, or you might consider leaving his food a bit farther from the camera, so it's less likely to scare him.
