Package delivery and service detection alerts

After Ring just added “person detection“ alerts, and given that that relies on some cool machine vision stuff server side, I think it would be feasible to add detection for the logos of UPS, USPS, and FedEx and other services to the cameras, so when a delivery vehicle stops in view of a camera, a specific alert can be pushed to your phone or whatever else Ring integrates with. Going further, add detection for all vehicles, this is a bit harder than OCR’ing a logo on the side of the van, but then you could detect lingering vehicles, gig(doordash, postmates) deliverys, and such, with obvious manual and automatic white lists for cars that regularly come by and your neighbors.
