Motion sensor tamper button broken
Hello, I changed the batteries in my motion sensor and the tamper alert would not go away. I was investigating the sensor to try turn off the tamper notification and ended up breaking the tamper switch. Everything else works but the tamper alert won’t go away and I can’t fully alarm my system with it on.

Hi @user_961f14. As the previous commenter suggested, it's recommended to replace the Motion Detector since the tamper switch is broken. The tampered status won't clear due to the broken switch. The Tamper notification takes several minutes to disappear from the app due to the way Z-Wave communicates. Nothing can speed this up but the app will eventually re-check for tamper and the Notification will disappear. However, now you've broken the tab, you will have to remove the sensor and replace it.
