Subscription price doubling in 3 years? Seriously?

I’ve had a Ring subscription plan ever since we first got a Ring doorbell and have at last decided not to renew for this year. Why? Because it’s frankly ridiculous to double the price from £24.99 in February 2022 to £49.99 in February 2025. I don’t think that just choosing ‘price’ as the reason for unsubscribing really covers my shock at how much this has gone up. A couple of quid a year, fair enough. But this is so much more, and a £15 increase over last year alone. I know there has been inflation in the UK economy, but maybe if you didn’t waste money on getting Ant and Dec to provide their less than attractive voices you could have kept costs reasonable? Ugh. Farewell Ring. We’re moving house soon, so maybe it’s time to review our systems more generally.
