Ring + myQ
I linked my Ring and myQ accounts and can now see the garage doors' status, with each garage door coming in as a device which can see status. You can't open/close them from Ring as it takes you to the myQ app for control. As far as I can tell you can't put alerts on the status and also they don't come through as a device to Alexa. Has anyone had any luck with this or do we just get to see basic status from ring app and thats the only feature? Also, I am getting an error that says 'Something went wrong. Please try again later." when I click into a specific garage door through the dashboard. Maybe I did something wrong and thats why other features aren't there? Any help would be great!

I am having difficulty completing the integration between MyQ and ring. I have followed the link from the MyQ app that launches the ring app. There are no other instructions. I have tried adding a garage door opener and selected MyQ and it sees my device but I am unable to select the device to complete the set up. I tried calling customer service to get some support but they had no information for me. I was emailed a link to MyQ. There is no mention of ring support/integration on the myQ website.

CHi @JAWilson33. Would you mind sharing a screenshot of what you're seeing in the Ring App when you try to set up this integration? Additionally, I'd recommend trying to uninstall the Ring App, restart your phone, and reinstall the Ring App before attempting to set up the integration again.

JActually I was able to resolve the issue by setting it up in my iPad. Apparently, when I logged into my iPad and synced my Amazon account on that device, it worked.

AI would love to see these integrations as well. For example if the system is armed and the garage door opens, I think you should have the option of setting that up to make the alarm sound. I would also like to be able to turn on the light from the app as well

Hi @Tstickli. You'll need an Amazon account to link your MyQ account to your Ring account. Hi @SchittySchooty85. The integration between Ring and MyQ is new, so the feature will show you the status in the Ring App and has a button that links you directly to the MyQ app. Currently this is the intended behavior, as we have just started working with them. It is possible more functionality will be added in the future, but for now this is how it is supposed to work. I hope that helps clear things up! :)
