I got my system set up with a Ring Video Doorbell 3 Plus, and the Ring Access Controller Pro, integrated with my Amazon Echo Show(s). This is to control access to an automatic vehicle gate. Everything work fine as far as getting the alerts and video of the doorbell etc. (on the Shows I selected, and my phone via the Ring app). My question is, "Is there any way to be able to open the gate, using the Show/Alexa app". You would thing there would be a way to either hit a button on the touch screen? or use an Alexa voice command? I can only use my phone via the Ring app to open the gate. I want to be able to use the Alexa, but I only get alerts and can see the video. Appreciate any help or advice on this.

Hi @Dave_B. I'm not sure if there is a specific command to do this, but it might be possible. Have you tried setting up a Routine in your Alexa app? Routines allow Alexa to carry out certain tasks with a voice command, or action, that you assign it. For example, I have a [Routine to allow my lights turn on and off](https://community.ring.com/t/my-favorite-alexa-routine/37519). You can learn more about routines with this Help Center article [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360031606811-Creating-a-Routine-with-Alexa-and-your-Ring-Device-). I hope this helps.
