Echo Show 10 errors
I’m at my wits end here. Trying to get this new ring light online and when I get to the step to connect the ring floodlight to the echo show 10 I am using as a bridge, I get “hmmmm sorry something went wrong, please try again” Even though, during this process the Alexa app on my phone sees the new light. Tried calling customer service, got disconnected after verifying my account. Live chat was no help either. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hello, i’ve been trying to set up my smart light bulb for the past few days. I’ve spoken to Ring (did all the troubleshooting yu could think of) I’ve spoken to Amazon Echo’s team (no success with them) In fact , they instructed me to speak with Ring. They kept saying the light bulb has to be on the app first before it can connect to the echo show device. Im so confused because how would it show on the Ring app if it requires the echo’s built in bridge in order for it to set up. I was on the phon for almost 3 hrs (between the two of them) to no avail. Currently googling and youtubing just to see if there’s any assistance out there. Btw, thats the exact same message i keep getting. . . I see yu posted this a long time aho but still just wanna know have you had any luck with this situation.

Ensure that both your Ring app and Alexa app are up to date as well as your Echo device. You may need to disable then re-enable the Ring app as a troubleshooting step.
