Hi, Sorry if this is a duplicate theme but relatively new to Ring doorbells. I've noticed that when viewing the history on the app it won't capture any ongoing and future motion recordings. This can block out the entire day and have missed several events when parcels are being delivered. The way to stop this from happening is to shut down the app on my iPhone - by swiping the home screen up and swiping up to close the Ring app down. Is there some kind of setting that I should be aware of to stop this from happening or is this an ongoing bug?

Hi @user_1d6014. When you say you have the Ring app open, do you mean you have the Live View active? Ring devices can only record one event at a time, so if you have the Live View open, it's not going to also detect motion at the same time. Otherwise, having the Ring app open would have no impact on a device's performance. With an active Ring Home plan, your Ring Doorbell will record when motion is detected, someone rings the bell, or you activate the Live View. Check your Modes settings to make sure you don't have motion detection turned off in a specific Mode.
