Motion sensor fell off wall, and battery fell out. No notification on alarm app

Hello, The sticky pads on one of my motion sensors wasn't quite up to the task, and the sensor fell off the wall. Not a big deal, however as it fell the back came off and the battery came out. At this point I would expect the ring system to alert that one of the sensors has stop responding. Yet it didn't do this. The only reason I know it happened was that while hoovering the next day I found it on the floor. This seems a little odd that the sensor can become disconnected from the system and no events are triggered. --Guy

Hi @user_7b3467. When a device that is currently online falls and the cover comes off, you should get a notification that the device is tampered. There is also offline notifications. If you are not getting these, check you Settings in the Ring app. From the Settings Menu, tap Alert Settings > Alarm > Push and toggle on you notifications.
