Base station offline
Hello, I’m currently away on holiday and got a notification that the base station is offline. Internet at home is working fine, the ring indoor camera works properly as not connected to the base station, other appliances working with Wi-Fi are working properly. It seems that the base station is not even using the sim network or battery (in case the adapter went off the socket), it seems completely dead. It is clear that your device is not reliable, I can’t do nothing till the moment I’ll be back home and currently there is not alarm working at home, if someone will attempt to enter my property your base station will not detect it. Is this ever happen for other clients? What should I do when I’ll be back home?

Thank you for your response, I’ll do that when I’ll be back home. However, even the sim signal is offline, which is very annoying. There haven’t been any wi-Fi outages during this week, as mentioned other appliances using wi-fi are working fine

Hi @user_2020e2. Ring devices, including the Base Station, automatically try to reconnect to the wifi network after a temporary outage. As soon as you arrive home, I'd strongly recommend reaching out to our support team directly. They can take a closer look at your Ring Alarm in order to diagnose what the issue is. You can reach out via phone, or on Facebook @Ring by sending a private message.
