Use my old doorbell for back door camera watch

I have an old Ring. Doorbell I would like to use for bird/ garden watch, when I scan it tell me it belongs to someone else, because it was first set up on a now defunct email,address and WiFi. ISP. Name and home address are the same ! Is there an easy way to untangle the red tape on My brought and paid for doorbell please, please don’t say I have to wait 15 weeks to get a change of email and WiFi on my own Doorbell ?
