Motion zone option is now much smaller than before

My ring outdoor camera (solar) has been installed for around 6 months. For the first few months my option of motion zone was almost the entire field of view from the camera, now it is only able to capture 1/3 of what it could. Has there been an update??? I appreciate the motion sensors range is less than the entire camera field of view, but something has definitely changed. I can no longer monitor the entire area I purchased this for!!!
