Ring Doorbell 2 Solar Charger
Like many others I’m having issues with the solar charger showing not connected. I have troubleshooted, disconnected and cleaned the connections, reconnected the wires and reconnected the doorbell to the app and still showing as not charging. I installed it last week (the day of the AWS outage) and since then we have had a couple of clear days where the panels have had direct sunlight for more than 4-5 hours but still no signs of life. I’ve seen that there are a few posts of dud units out there, so I’m wondering whether to wait until the spring (when we are likely to have better weather and a higher sun) or trying to get a replacement now. Anyone have any ideas?
