Ring chime doesn’t work when the ring doorbell pro is taken outside

Hi, I’ve been trying to problem solve this issue for a while now. Ring doorbell pro has been set up but not put into position yet as while the chime goes when motion is set off of doorbell pressed in the house, when I try to get it to respond when the doorbell is at my front door or outside there is no response. We’ve tried moving the wifi booster, moving the chime, but nothing. What I have discovered is that the chime being around a corner seems to stop them connecting. Has anyone else had this and how did you solve it? I’ve tried Ring chat, and will have to call if this doesn’t throw anything up
