Connect Ring alarm base station from the US and a camera from EU

I live in the EU, and the last time I was in the US, I purchased a Ring alarm set (base station + keypad + sensors). Everything works fine. Now, I want to connect a battery video doorbell, and I was wondering if this will work at all. I've read that the cameras and other accessories that use wifi to connect can connect regardless of the region. Is this true, since I cannot find any official information about this? Thanks.
