Hi there, @WhoIsYou! For neighbors who are concerned about specialized burglars, there are a couple PoE capable devices available at Ring.com. Our [Stick Up Camera Elite](https://ring.com/products/stick-up-security-camera-elite-poe) and the [Video Doorbell Elite](https://ring.com/products/video-doorbell-elite) are able to connect and operate via PoE. As we try to offer our neighbors many solutions, the [Alarm system](https://shop.ring.com/pages/security-system) also has a [cellular and battery backup feature](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005323926-What-Happens-When-Your-Ring-Alarm-Goes-Offline). Feel free to also check out our [Community article](https://community.ring.com/t/how-to-ring-account-security/4284) for more information about account security. I hope this helps! :)

@Marley_Ring @WhoIsYou I am all for more PoE products. Especially wired doorbells and wired cameras as you often need to drill through your wall anyway to install these. Would be good if a product was wired it had a PoE option you could choose. PoE would probably push enough power for a PoE version of the spotlight cams as well. I seriously looked at the Doorbell Elite as I can easily get ethernet to the location however I went with the Pro 2 due to the Elite having a much older feature set, not allowing it to be angled and mainly due to the fact I am in the UK. Most houses here are brick and the elite needs to be flush mounted hence a big hole cut. Its a big ask for someone to cut a big hole to match up to one product. It would be great if there was a surface mount PoE doorbell, sort of like a Pro 2 with PoE. I would get one of those tomorrow if it was available.

Yesterday evening I had my first unnerving experience of a WiFi jammer in action. The person walked up to my door and was initially caught by the RDV, but then the image went blurry and blanked out. I could see the person was holding and pressing something just out of shot before the video imaging failed. It was disconcerting as I was parked in my car around the corner when this happened. So, before I spend £176 + on a Ring POE product, I’d like to understand what the Ring POE will do and how it will address WiFi jamming as I feel certain my home is now on a burglar target list.

@user77374 @Marley_Ring PoE will address Wi-Fi jamming simply in that it doesn’t use Wi-Fi the connection for both power and data is over an ethernet cable so there is nothing to jam. Keep in mind to my knowledge Ring only do 2 PoE products. A stick up cam elite and the doorbell elite. Both are older devices with older feature sets. I think the camera is based on the older gen 1 or gen 2 stick up cam and the doorbell is similar to the older Pro 1 and is quite tricky to install. Ring have went quiet on PoE stuff. I would love an updated PoE based doorbell which is easier to set up but I have have a feeling they are going to quietly drop their PoE products. I just don’t think there is the mass market demand for them which is a real shame and hope I am wrong.
