Mac OS App - Invalid credentials - Unable to login
Sometime back I installed the Ring app on my Mac Studio. I assume it was the iPhone/iPad version of the app. It worked. However, when I launch the app now, I get a login window with blurred video background driving down a US residential street. It will not let me login, it just says 'Invalid credentials' when you enter a username/password. I know the credentials are correct, as I'm using Apple Keychain and can access direct as well as copy & paste. The credentials work when accessing the Ring website. What's happened to the app?

The desktop app was discontinued a while back. It was a proper Desktop app. The iPhone app has never been on the App Store. I successfully use webcatalog ( https://webcatalog.io/en/desktop ) to get the app on my M1 MacBook Pro.
