Question re accessing events when the alarm has gone onto mobile backup connection
I'm a shared user on my mother's Ring Alarm and when the alarm was recently using the mobile backup connection and battery power, I was unable to see any events or alarm system devices in the app. Why is this?

This could be due to limitations in the mobile backup mode, which may prioritize essential functions to conserve power and data usage during emergencies. During such periods, some non-essential features, such as remote viewing of events or device status, might be temporarily disabled to ensure that the alarm system's critical functions remain operational.. If you encounter this issue frequently and it's causing inconvenience, it might be a good idea to reach out to Ring's customer support for more specific information about how their mobile backup mode operates and to explore potential solutions or workarounds. They should be able to provide you with more insights and assistance tailored to your situation.

Hi @KevinH1. When the Ring Alarm is using Battery Backup, some settings are turned off for battery preservation. You can read more about this [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115005323926-What-to-Know-if-Your-Ring-Alarm-Goes-Offline).
