Not attaching to base after charging
I have a Ring Doorbell battery 2024 which I took off to charge today. It came off no problem with the little orange tool given in the kit. It’s ready to go back on but it will not click into place. It’s hooked on at the top but the bottom won’t click. I’ve watched videos and tried everything - anyone else had this problem and what did you do?

I've had the same issue and Ring said I must have caused physical when I used the orange key and will not replace it. They kindly offered me 30% off a new one. As if I would.

The backplate has likely distorted while the Doorbell was charging. Best thing to do to check this is to unscrew the four screws a quarter to a half a turn each and then try again.
