Hey @Ziggyaawdust. Just wanted to clear up my previous answer! For installation of the Ring Alarm on a boat, this is possible, but you will need to input an address into the Ring app when you are setting up the device. Therefore, you will need to put in whichever address you feel comfortable putting in here, such as your home address of your's. Once you have set up the system, without a fixed address for the boat, you will be unable to be enrolled in the [Assisted Monitoring](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360032116171) we offer, but can continue to use the Ring Alarm at the location in a Self-Monitored status.

Hey @Ziggyaawdust. Ring is a Home Security System and we do not recommend installing it at a location such as a boat that does not have a physical address and cannot be professionally monitored.
