Base station can’t reconnect when internet dies

I’ve noticed an issue with my base station - if my modem gets reset (my modem is separate from my router), then the ring base station will not reconnect once the internet comes back up. Even if I reset the router, it still then won’t reconnect. Hard reset of the base station works, but that’s a pain, and not as simple as quickly unplugging it, because it has a built in battery. Ring base station is ethernet connected, with IP reserved by tplink deco routers

If you're still experiencing a concern with your Base Station not reconnecting to wifi after resetting your modem and router, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406) so they can take a closer look at this with you. They can also guide you through any resets on the Base Station, as you don't want to accidentally factory reset it since you would have to reset all of your alarm components as well.
