Ring video Gen 2 failure

I have a 2nd gen ring doorbell.  Unfortunately it isn't functioning well at all.  Is there a luge expectancy for the devices?  I notice night clarity is somewhat diminished and video length is hit and miss.  I have a ring security alarm to rear of property which is working well. Not sure now whether or not to install verisure alarm as opposed to Ring.  Any advice or help would be advantageous. Thanks in advance John Gardner

Hi @1dec5f87bec8678a45e1. Ring devices are designed to last many years. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps for the issues you described? There is a reboot option on the Device Health page that can help correct common problems. I'd also recommend checking the RSSI on the Device Health page, which is a measure of the wifi signal strength on your Ring device.
