External Power field in Ring App for solar powered floodlight

We have a solar-powered Floodlight we just added to our system. In the Ring App, for the Solar Floodlight under Device Health, there is an “External Power” field. It’s currently showing “None” in that field, but if the solar panel is connected to the Floodlight, is that expected or should it say something else? I’m asking as it seems the solar panel isn’t charging the batteries at all.
