Unable to link accounts. Your Alexa app needs an update.
Hi everyone. For the past two months, I have been unable to get notifications of the doorbell on any of my Echo devices. I uninstalled the Ring skill in Alexa and have tried to reinstall but this is what I get every single time and I have no clue how to fix it as it says the Alexa app needs to update but the Alexa app is up to date (I even uninstalled and reinstalled the Alexa app and still the same). I was wondering if anyone knew of a fix for this problem as I have noticed in the review section of the Ring skill in the Alexa app that many people have the same problem (I'm surprised I can't find any posts on it though... maybe most just gave up and moved to another brand) I need the Echo to notify when the doorbell is being pressed mainly for my elderly Dad. It will notify me on my phone (with the usual annoying delay) but I am not always at home, I have tried to enable notifications via his desktop instead but that doesn't work either, but obviously, that has nothing to do with Alexa and guessing I would need to ask a separate question for that problem. lol

Just saw that my plan runs out today, so no fixes I guess I am going to do what it seems that many others with the same problem have done and get another product from another brand. Can't believe no fixes, no info online about the problem and to top it all off I cannot upload the screenshot of the fault here... all around pretty pathetic from Ring.

Hey there! We're sorry about the issue y'all are having with uploading photos. We "remodeled" our Community website and we don't have everything ironed out yet. I apologize!
