Ring Break Glass Detector went off for something not glass related
glass-break-sensor

The alarm was set to home and armed and I have two ring glass break detectors installed at the front and back of the house. A plastic handled broom fell over on the tiled floor and this has somehow managed to set the alarm off. How has that happened? It's not glass and doesn’t sound like glass breaking at all, yet it’s somehow set the broken  glass detector off with it falling on the floor! It’s a bit concerning if something can fall over like a broom against a wall and set off a glass detector. I was under the impression that Rings glass break detectors were programmed to specifically detect the sound of broken glass only, but clearly this isn’t the case.
