Neither wired or battery doorbells work correctly
troubleshooting

We bought 2 wired Ring doorbells and had them installed by an electrician. After approximately 3 hours on the phone with Ring, I got them to work for about 2 days. They then both went off line and I continually got the message “cannot connect to Ring network.” After another 2 hours on the phone, Ring tells me to have the electrician come back. I have now spent over $500 for the electrician. He replaced the chime and transformer and checked them to make sure they were working. I call Ring AGAIN and they were of absolutely no help. I then decide I’ll try a battery operated doorbell. Got it to connect easily but sometimes it alerts, sometimes it doesn’t but it will not “go live”. I have reset the router, the app, the doorbell numerous times and still the same thing. And now I just checked it and it’s offline. Also, when I got the doorbells, I got a battery operated camera for the back yard and have had zero issues with it. The camera has never once gone off line and I can go live with it whenever I want. I wish I never bought any Ring product but I’ve sunk so much time and money into it at this point I don’t want to just lose all that time and money for nothing.
