Motion sensor tamper button broken
troubleshooting
Hello, I changed the batteries in my motion sensor and the tamper alert would not go away. I was investigating the sensor to try turn off the tamper notification and ended up breaking the tamper switch. Everything else works but the tamper alert won’t go away and I can’t fully alarm my system with it on.

The Tamper notification takes several minutes to disappear from the app due to the way Z-Wave communicates. Nothing can speed this up but the app will eventually re-check for tamper and the Notification will disappear. However, now you've broken the tab, you will have to remove the sensor and replace it.
