2nd gen keypad UK
keypad

Hi all. Of course the UK alarm doesn’t allow for ring to call the emergency services etc and only calls the registered owner with an automated message. I upgraded our keypad to the 2nd gen and I’m still unsure what the 3 emergency buttons do? Does it just call the registered owner with an automated call still or does it actually request emergency services? Thanks in advance!

Good question, @ggr. The Keypad (2nd Generation) emergency buttons are intended to operate as follows: **Panic button** - Sounds the siren and sends push notifications to emergency contacts when pressed. If you have Assisted Monitoring, a signal will be sent to the monitoring service, which will call your emergency contacts at the same time. **Fire button** - Sounds the siren and sends push notifications to emergency contacts when pressed. If you have Assisted Monitoring, a signal will be sent to the monitoring service, which will call your emergency contacts at the same time. **Medical button** - The Base Station will flash and a push notification is sent when pressed. The siren will not sound, but you will hear the words "Medical Alert Active". If you have Assisted Monitoring, a signal will be sent to the monitoring service, which will call your emergency contacts at the same time. Learn more about the Keypad buttons and lights here. :) https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360042894911-Ring-Alarm-Keypad-2nd-gen-Lights-and-Buttons-Explained
