Hi @thomas1971f. The battery should not be draining that quickly unless the Doorbell is recording a large number of events. Review the Event History in the Ring App to see if there is a large number of dings, motions, or Live Views on a daily basis. If your Doorbell is seeing a lot of activity, you can try lowering the motion sensitivity, adjusting the Motion Zones, or adjusting the [Motion Frequency](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115003477106-Understanding-and-Optimizing-Motion-Detection-with-Motion-Frequency) settings. If everything looks to be in order with the settings and you don't see a lot of events in the Event History, then I'd suggest trying a reset and a new setup of the Doorbell. To reset it, you'll simply hold down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. After that, you can take it through a new setup by following the steps under Set Up a Device. Should the battery still be draining quickly after trying all of these suggestions, please give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). They will be able to run more diagnostics to see what could be causing the battery to drain at this rate. We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times.
