Question

I have had my ring doorbell for 2 years now and due to it being on my front door and the weather it has worn away and the metal on the front is peeling away. Is this normal? Do you do doorbells that are compatible with rain as I feel I need to replace but don’t want to do this every 2 years. Thanks

I have the same issue, a Venetian bronze doorbell around 2 years old which is badly discoloured and more concerning the casing has perished and peeling away. My concern is that the unit won't make it through next winter. Ring seemingly have no complaints process in place and just hide behind the statement of your device is out of warranty. For what I paid for the device and what I pay in ongoing subscription it's abysmal service and quality of product, I wished I hadn't bothered and gone with a competitor.
