App help system - not helpful when it blocks the app

When using the Help feature of the App, it launches in the App, but blocks access to the rest of the App. If I find something useful in the Help guide, and it gives me steps, I can not follow those steps directly until I close the Help screen and then I cannot see the steps, bit of a conundrum. If Help is to be helpful, then it would be nice if it launches in it’s own window (or something) so that I can move it around AND still have access to the App to follow the steps given in the help information.
