Alarm triggered Notification to sound like an Amber Alert
the ability of the app to bypass the phone volume and set off a loud alarm when triggered. Similar to an amber alert. My alarm was triggered when I was out shopping and all my phone did was a light vibration and make a soft chirp. That is not enough indication that my alarm is going off. I had no idea what the sound was. Until i looked at my phone and look through my notifications and reviewed my cameras and had to deactivate before the police was notified.

I have also been wondering if there is a way to do this. The existing alarm alert is insufficient to wake someone or catch your attention in most environments. I’m shocked that Ring has not done anything about this. I guess they do it so that people will be more inclined to subscribe to their monitoring service. It needs to have an away to trigger a persistent alert that one would have have to silence, just like an alarm clock. This is not rocket surgery. C’mon Ring, stop thinking just about money and give use a proper product. I have thousands invested in multiple alarms and camera systems and I expect better.

Please can you investigate having a way to choose sound for any critical alerts From Ring Alarm - I had a critical alert go off at my parents at night , it was just by chance I was awake and the sound it emitted was just a little blip sound, had I been asleep it would have failed waking me up… this to me is a major flaw… I have checked settings and their is no way to change sound, yet on camera alerts I can choose sounds… please fix this urgently
