UK without subscription- what can I do?

Just so I'm clear, can you use home and away modes without a subscription?
Can I use my alarm with my phone if bought before march 2023? What happens if I change the location of the alarm if I move house and what happens if I buy new sensors?
I did contact ring support but didn't get anywhere

Hi @Hereandhere. If you had the Ring Alarm System before **March 29, 2023**, then you do not need a subscription in order to use Modes. Changing the location of your Alarm will not affect this, nor will adding new Sensors. Hi @Hereandhere. In the UK, you do not need a Ring Protect Plan in order to use Modes. If you review the comparison chart on this [page](https://en-uk.ring.com/pages/rpp-plus-for-alarms), you will see that Modes for the Alarm comes at no extra cost for neighbors in the UK.
