My home is a victorian and one aspect of them often was part of the porch has glass to provide some protection from the elements. I have configured my motion zone to exclude the windows but when the Pro 2 tracks someone walking from the windowed portion of its field into the clear view which is part of my motion zone it registers the person as being significantly closer than they actually are which then triggers the alert (you can see in the x map that the device is tracking them as being 50% closer). When a person walks the opposite direction the problem doesn’t occur.
This seems like something that could be tuned as it does seem like the Pro 2 range finding is still functional it’s just attenuated by the glass.
