I have been trying to get a first-gen Ring door bell to work. I have changed out the transformer and chime but I still can not get this working. Any troubleshooting suggestions are appreciated.

Hi there, @JamieG. Is this Video Doorbell device setup in the Ring app and online? If your concern is getting this Doorbell to sound the internal chime kit, please ensure the chime kit model is on our Chime Compatibility list. Next, check that the Doorbell is online by testing a live view in the Ring app. I hope this helps! 
I have verified the Heath Zenith SL-2796 chime is on the compatibility list. Also, the Ring doorbell is communicating with the phone app. Live view is working nicely. Any further troubleshooting tips appreciated.
