can Ring Pro be mounted to front gate

I have a front gate where my original doorbell is located. Can the Ring Pro be mounted on the front gate? Gate is iron.

Hi @Geemman. It may be possible to mount your Ring Pro at that location. It’s going to depend on the wifi strength where it is mounted. Also, the current doorbell it’s wired to will need a transformer that has 16VAC and 10VA.
