This is a widely known issue, are there any fixes? None of my echo shows or dots work as a chime for notations for my ring generation 2 battery doorbell. My 1 year warranty has just expired and now there is no chime on my android phone either, only the doorbell unit itself for chime rings which is useless. Android app starting to crash. Any workarounds? Not keen on having to buy a new doorbell every year.

Hi @user_4d5e96. If your Ring Doorbell rings, and the event is logged in the Event History, then the issue is not with the Doorbell itself. Have you checked your announcement settings in the Alexa app? If you have multiple Echo devices, you can choose which ones play an announcement when someone rings your Doorbell. For notifications on your phone, make sure the Ring app is fully updated, and ensure Ring and Motion Alerts are toggled on for the Doorbell. You might also need to check the permissions in your phone's settings.
