Hello, kind of going betwen getting hard wired floodlight cams vs. getting solar floodlight cams. The solar would be much easier since no electrician needed... my question do the batteries need to be replaced often on these units? How long do they last in general? Thanks

I am quite surprised and shocked. My solar powered floodlight had provisions for two battery packs so I bought two and it worked pretty good for two years now. Finally even though I have not moved the panel and it still is in a good position and my connections are all good the batteries will no longer hold a charge, I take them out for my my chargers for a full 24 hours and I’m lucky if I can get six hours out of them even with a panel in the sunlight supposedly recharging them. So I was wondering about getting a hardwired floodlight.
