hi just upgraded from the original ring doorbell to the 2nd gen version off it only problem i have now is on the motion settings the slider bar is missing this is wat i get now is everyones the same.
Hey @jay882. This is indeed the same setting that you should have had on the Ring Video Doorbell 1st Generation, but you may have had the Live View previously. We found that this was not very accurate in showing where the Doorbell can see out at, and therefore the 2nd Generation does not show the Live View with the slider. I recommend adjusting the settings as needed to find the sweet spot that works best for your home’s setup. 
thanks for the reply ive actually found it was very accurate i could use the slider now i have a slider with absolutely no way off knowing how far it goes out or wat im covering sometimes its best left alone if not broken.
