Spectrum Modem

I had a Spectrum modem/router combination but the tech said I needed to change it. I got a separated modem/ router from Spectrum, and my ring doorbell will not connect to it. Anyone else have this problem with a spectrum modem?

Same problem can’t connect my doorbell

Hi neighbors. If you are not able to connect your Doorbell to your wifi, try the following steps:

  • Factory reset your Doorbell by pressing and holding the setup button on it for 20–25 seconds.

  • Reboot your router by powering it off for a few seconds and then powering it back on.

  • If possible, try setting up your Doorbell in the same room as your router.

  • Try using a different phone or table to complete your setup.
