Ring video doorbell not charging

Hi, I have my video doorbell hardwired and connected to an existent mechanical doorbell but it is not charging and the mechanical chime does not sound when the video doorbell is pressed.

I have it connected to a 8 - 24VAC transformer.
How can I fixed it to have it working fine?

Hi @Hugoah! The transformer certainly sounds sufficient for a charge. Keep in mind that a trickle charge will apply to the battery power Doorbells when hardwired, in which cold temperature, too many motion events, or frequent live views can drain your battery quicker than that charge can be applied. In addition to Doorbell usage versus charge rate, please also ensure the wiring used is standard gauge wire, and not too thin. I hope this helps!
