Hi guys,

Im pretty confused as to the difference between the two apart from the battery replacement can be done on 2 rather than the newly released gen 2.

Which is the better model out of the two?

Is the camera better on gen 2?

Great question @Skyenet! You are correct, the built in battery is the difference between the Video Doorbell Gen 2 and Video Doorbell 2, as is the price! :slight_smile:

I read somewhere that the night vision has been improved on the video doorbell gen 2 compared on video doorbell 2?
