We have just installed a new Ring Doorbell 2. When we touch the wires together it makes the chime sound. But when the button is pressed it does not. Please can someone tell us what to do? Thanks!
Hey @L12345. Do you have a digital chime kit? If you do, you will need to make sure the diode is installed, which could be why you don’t hear the bell going off! In comparison, if you have a mechanical chime kit and installed the diode, this could cause problems too.
