Ring door view cam doesn’t seem to be working

Hi all. So I installed the Ring door view cam today and after setting up without a hitch I looked on the app where I noticed it was not straight. When I turned it, it just seemed to lose power. After disconnecting the battery and making sure it still has power it is not lighting up nor is it chiming etc. Through the app it does say that it is online and displays battery percentage but does not showing any recordings or live view. Any idea what could be wrong?

Hi @Newbietoday. Have you tried to reset the Ring and set it back up in the Ring App? You can reset it by holding down the setup button for at least 20 seconds. Once that’s done, you’ll want to follow the steps under Set Up a Device to get it back up and running in the Ring App. If that doesn’t do the trick, the next best course of action would be to contact our support team directly so they can look into this further.
